BANGALORE, SEPT. 4. Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain Degree College and its Pre University College were declared combined overall championship winners in the Spiel 2004, the Inter Collegiate Sports fest organised by St. Josephs College of Commerce at its premises.

The results (all finals): Basketball: Women: SBM Jain bt SBM Jain PU College 35-31 (17-15). Cricket: BHS 172 in 30 overs (K.B. Karthik three for 18) lost to SBM Jain 173 for five in 25 overs (Gopalan Bhardwaj 83). Hockey: United Mission bt SBM Jain 4-0. Table tennis: Men: SBM Jain PU bt Sri Kumarans 3-0. Women: SBM Jain PU bt Pesit 3-0.
