This Day That Age
China's Premier, Mr. Chou En-lai, and General Chu Teh, Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese Army, were among the 800 people who welcomed the Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama, temporal and spiritual heads of Tibet, when the Lamas arrived in Peking by train on September 4, Peking Radio said. The Lamas are in Peking to attend the Chinese National People's Congress.
