Seagate strengthens position

NEW DELHI: Seagate Technology, leading supplier of hard disc drives, continues to strengthen its market leadership position in India with more than 60 per cent market share for the personal and enterprise storage market segments in the second calendar quarter of 2004, according to independent market research company ACNielsen's findings. While Seagate leads all suppliers of hard disc drives in India, the nearest competitor could achieve only 26 per cent market share. — Our Special Correspondent
