Letters to the Editor
Sir, While the BJP leaders are protesting against the alleged disrespect shown to Savarkar by Mr. Aiyar, Yashwant Sinha, one of the senior-most leaders of the party, has described the Prime Minister as "Shikhandi." Such remarks coming from a leader who has held high offices are in a bad taste. There is a limit to slandering.
S. Nallasivan,
Sir, Mr. Sinha should tender an unconditional apology to Dr. Singh. He has belittled the dignity of the Prime Minister and his office. Ethics in politics seems to have hit a new low. That Mr. Sinha was a senior bureaucrat makes it even more shameful.
Himanshu Kumar,
