Maruthi College of Physical Education (MCPE) got the better of Tamil Nadu College of Engineering (TCE) 80-32 at the kabaddi courts, while host Kongu Engineering College (KEC), Perundurai, beat Sethu Engineering College 25-14, 25-15, 25-14 and advanced to second round of the volleyball event in the fifth State-level inter-collegiate tournaments for the Kongu Trophy at the KEC courts here on Monday.
