KOZHIKODE, SEPT. 6. The polytechnic of Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust (KMCT) at Manassery in Kozhikode has been accorded recognition as a self-financing institute. It is the second self-financing polytechnic in the State. The institution has 60 seats each in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronic Instrumentation Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. The polytechnic has also been accorded recognition by the All-India Council for Technical Education and the State Government. The minimum qualification for admission is pass in SSLC. Admission to the polytechnic is now open, K.M. Nawaz, executive trustee, said today.
