Three women washed away in hill stream

VISAKHAPATNAM, SEPT. 6. Three women belonging to Kumidisingi village in G. Madugula mandal were reportedly washed away in the Rallagedda, a hill stream swollen due to rain, on Monday.

The body of one of the victims, Pallaboina Sujatha (18) was found at a distance, according to reports reaching here. The G. Madugula police were searching for the other two missing women -- P. Gangamma (40) and P. Ramulamma (16) -- with the help of swimmers.

Five women were crossing the stream in the morning when they were washed away by the strong current.
