Congress MLAs blame TDP leadership

HYDERABAD,
SEPT. 6.
Several Congress MLAs today condemned the killings and squarely blamed the TDP leadership for the violence. Conveying condolences to the victims' families, they said the culprits must be arrested immediately.
It was unfortunate that TDP leaders were blaming the Congress Government for the murders without ascertaining the facts, as Prabhakar's killing could also be due to a non-political reason, they said.
They asked whether the TDP chief, N. Chandrababu Naidu, would take the blame for the murder of 300 Congress activists in Anantapur alone during his nine-year long rule and of others elsewhere in the State.
