Fire accident in water purifier unit

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 6. Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed after fire broke out in a water purifier manufacturing plant at Fatehbagh in Sanathnagar police station area late on Sunday night. Six fire tenders and firemen had to struggle for more than four hours to put out the flames.

Reasons for the fire accidents were not yet known, said the Sanathnagar Inspector, N. Surender Reddy. Around 11.45 p.m., two security guards of the Acquamal Water Solutions, a wing of Acqua Guard company, noticed smoke emanating from a corner of the factory. They immediately informed the local police who alerted the Sanathnagar fire service station. With flames soon engulfing the entire factory building, the Sanathnagar firemen were forced to call in five other fire tenders.
