BANGALORE, SEPT. 6. The Mahalakshmi Nagar police have arrested two persons allegedly involved in stealing cars and computers. Three cars valued at Rs. 16 lakh, 22 computers, some electronic gadgets, and materials used to commit the crimes have been recovered from them. Police said Fiyaz (39) of Heggadadevanakote and Babu (43) of Mandya were involved 20 offences such as car thefts and burglary in Subramanya Nagar, Rajajinagar, Sheshadripuram, Vijayanagar and three other police station limits. The accused used two wireless sets to communicate with each other.
Recovered
The Jayanagar police have arrested a person on charges of burglary and recovered gold and silver ornaments valued at Rs. 1.5 lakh. Police said Pratap (23) was involved in 11 acts of burglary in Basavanagudi, Peenya, Kamakshipalya and three other police station limits.
