Letters to the Editor
Sir, The editorial, "Beslan lessons" (Sept. 6), has rightly pointed out that the Western countries have to stop differentiating between `good' and `bad' terrorists. The recent attacks in Russia are testimony to the fact that terrorism is spreading its tentacles worldwide. Merely condemning such dastardly acts will not help curb terrorism. An effective strategy needs to be devised to combat it.
S. Sudhir Kumar,
Sir, Terrorism should be wiped out by united global action. Countries that encourage terrorism either openly or covertly should be identified and isolated.
N. Arumugham
