`Tehelka cases could be reopened'

By Kanwar Yogendra

SHIMLA, SEPT.7. The All-India Congress Committee general secretary in charge of the party affairs in Himachal Pradesh, Ambica Soni, today said that the Union Government might reopen the Tehelka cases and would not spare the culprits involved in the Godhra killings.

Ms. Soni told reporters that the Government was working with complete transparency, adhering to the Common Minimum Programme. She accused the BJP leaders of not coming to terms with the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. "They are disrupting Parliament and lowering the dignity of the country and democracy," she said.
