IAF (Palam) in final
NEW DELHI,
SEPT. 7.
Indian Air Force, Palam, defeated Raisina Sporting Union, 3-2, to enter the final of the ONGC-DSA senior division football super league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Tuesday.
Priya Darshan, Lalam Zauva and Feroz scored for IAF, Palam, which collected 12 points from five matches. Basu Das and Soman Dey reduced the margin for Raisina Sporting, which logged five points from five matches.
IAF, New Delhi, also has 12 points from four matches and will play its last match against Hindustan Club.
In another match, Shastri Club beat New Delhi Heroes 2-1, to end up with seven points. The loser finished with three points.
The DSA issued a show-cause notice to Shastri Club for the misbehaviour of its officials during the tournament.
