Nikhil Kumar (four for 4) and Anuj Sharma (three for 16) helped Shankaracharya School to an eight-wicket win over Modern School, Vasant Vihar, in the Himalaya Cup under-15 inter-school cricket tournament here.
The scores: Modern School, Vasant Vihar, 61 in 26 overs (Nikhil Kumar four for 4, Anuj Sharma three for 16) lost to Shankaracharya School 62 for two in 15.1 overs (Piyush Singh 36 n.o.).
Meera Model School 120 in 30.4 overs (D. Shrikant 68, Nipun Bhatia four for 12, Vidur Sethi three for 15) lost to Mount St. Mary's School 124 for three in 24.3 overs (Vidur Sethi 35, Lakshay Kumar 49 n.o., Gaurav Kochar three for 44).
Hans Raj Model School 149 for seven in 35 overs (Saurabh Passi 51, Ankur Kumar three for 26) beat St. Mark's School, Janakpuri, 64 in 21.2 overs (Anshul Kumar 30, Varun Kumar three for 11).
