MANGALORE, SEPT. 7. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has extended its "Net One" internet service to all short distance calling areas (SDCA) in Dakshina Kannada Telecom District, according to a press release. Under this service, a subscriber with a landline connection can set his modem to number 172222. The access charge for Internet usage is 10 paise per minute. The telephone usage charge will remain as usual. The telephone usage charge and Internet usage charge will appear in the same telephone bill. Under this facility, a subscriber need not buy Internet hours from BSNL and the customer need not bother about expiry of Internet hours. This facility will be extended to other exchanges shortly. In case of any complaints, customers can call 2444111 and 2442233.
