By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, SEP. 7. The Bangalore city police are yet to trace Avishek Ghosh, a final-year degree student, who was reportedly kidnapped from Jeevanbimanagar police station police station limits nearly four months ago.

Ghosh (22), a B.Sc. (Microbiology) student at Garden City College from Rourkela in Orissa, was reported missing from near an ATM in Jeevanbimanagar on May 14. His father, Avijit Ghosh, filed a complaint with the police on May 16. Avishek was a paying guest of Prabhu in Jeevanbimanagar. He had sent an SMS (short messaging service) message to Ms. Prabhu about his kidnapping. The police said Ghosh was 165 cm in height, had a fair complexion, and spoke English, Hindi and Bengali.
