Varun Motors' new showroom

HYDERABAD: The car market is growing steadily this year, and Maruti Udyog's strategy of vendor consolidation is also paying off according to Kinji Saito, Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Udyog. He was speaking to reporters after inaugurating Varun Motors' new showroom here at Banjara Hills on Wednesday. This is the company's 298th showroom. Mr. Saito said during April-August, Maruti registered a growth of 20 per cent against 18 per cent by the car industry, and 16 per cent by its competitors. — Our Special Correspondent
