CHENNAI, SEPT. 8. Jawahar Vidyalaya (Neyveli) clinched the under-19 title with 20 points in the CBSE South Zone chess tournament here on Wednesday.

Modern SSS finished runner up.

Final placings:

Under-19: Jawahar Vidyalaya (Neyveli) 20; Modern SSS (Chennai) 20; Chettinad Vidyashram (Chennai) 15.5 and Bhavan's, B.P. Vidya Mandir (Nagpur) 15.

Under-14: 1. Jawahar Vidyalaya (Neyveli) 23.5; 2. SBOA (Chennai) 22.5; 3. Modern School (Nagpur) 18.5 and 4. Modern SSS (Chennai) 18.
