St. Philomena's retains title

MYSORE, SEPT. 8. Defending champion, St. Philomena's FGC retained the Mysore city inter-collegiate men's hockey title beating TTL Business Management College, Mysore, 2-0 in the final at the University hockey grounds here on Wednesday. Left-out Binod Dung Dung and centre-half Ashok Kumar Minj scored for the winner.

The results: Hockey (final): St. Philomena's FGC bt TTL Business Management 2-0.

Basketball (Women) Final: Teresian PU College 51 (Rajeshwari 12) bt Teresian Degree College 46 ( Sumalatha 11).
