By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 8. A 25-year-old man in a fit of rage allegedly hit his father on the head with a stick killing him on the spot at Jammigadda in Kushaiguda, on Wednesday.

The youth, Srinu, picked up an argument with his father, Kishtaiah (50), a rickshaw-puller, after the latter admonished him for not going to work regularly. Srinu, reportedly an alcoholic, worked in a tyre retreading shop, and frequently skipped work. The police have taken Srinu into custody.

Youth hacks sibling?

In another incident, a milkman, Satish (22), reportedly killed his elder brother, Srinivas (25), accusing the latter of harassing him and other family members under the influence of alcohol. Their parents died a few years ago and they have a younger sister, Sirisha (21) and a brother, Shekhar (15).

Satish charged that Srinivas was addicted to liquor and used to frequently beat him and the younger siblings pestering them for money.

Three days ago, Srinivas reportedly disappeared after taking Rs. 600. Today evening when Satish questioned him about the money Srinivas slapped him. A furious Satish pulled out a grass cutter and inflicted multiple injuries on Srinivas killing him on the spot.
