Lawyers boycott courts

HYDERABAD,
SEPT. 8.
The State committee of All-India Lawyers' Union congratulated all advocates who participated in a dharna and boycotted courts on Wednesday to protest against the lathicharge on their colleagues in Lucknow.
Ina press release, the general secretary of the union, K. Satyanarayana, said that advocates participated in the dharna at the City Civil Court and boycotted courts in response to a call given by the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh. G.Vidya Sagar, president, and. R. Narayana Reddy, general secretary, Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district units of the union respectively, participated in the protest programmes.
