THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Sept. 8. As many as 170 activists of the Kerala Congress (Jacob) today quit the party and decided to form a new political outfit - the Kerala Congress (Orignial). Addressing a press conference here today, the Kerala Congress (Jacob) leader, O. V. Sreedath, said that many party activists were of the view that the party should quit the UDF in the wake of the political developments following the resignation of A. K. Antony as Chief Minister. The new outfit would seek to form a third front in Kerala with the help of like-minded parties, he said.
