Stir on HC Bench issue

TIRUCHI, SEPT. 8 . Various consumer organisations conducted an agitation in the city today demanding that the legal jurisdiction of Tiruchi be retained with the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.

The agitation, led by the president of the Tiruchi Paniyeetalar Iyakkam, Sakunthala Srinivasan, was attended by members of other consumer organisations, including the Thennindiya Nugarvor Padhukaapu Kulumam, Tamil Nadu Consumer Federation, and Tamil Nadu Nugarvor Sevai Sangam.
