NEW DELHI, SEPT. 9. Asserting that the Delhi Government was committed to providing all necessary infrastructure and civic facilities to entrepreneurs, the Delhi State Industrial Development Corporation (DSIDC) Chairman, Hasan Ahmed, today announced that a project would soon be drawn up to develop and beautify new and existing industrial estates under the Bhagidari Scheme initiative of the Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit. Expressing concern over the prevailing conditions in some of the developed industrial estates of the DSIDC across the Capital, Mr. Hasan Ahmed said that beautification drive including planting of trees and repair of roads would be taken up jointly with the involvement of the industrial entrepreneurs of the area. He said he would take up the issue of undertaking this new initiative with the Chief Minister and urge her to extend it to the industrial complexes as has been done in case of various markets of the Capital. Mr. Ahmed, who undertook an inspection of the Narela Industrial Complex in North-West Delhi today, said the plot holders had complained of various difficulties faced by them.
