Ashwith is president of students' union

MANGALORE, SEPT. 9. Ashwith Kottari of University College, Mangalore, has been elected president of Mangalore University All College Students' Union (MUACSU) for 2004-05. Veerabhadra of Govindadas College, Suratkal is the general secretary.

The other office bearers are Lakshmi, Besant Womens' College, Mangalore; Jayaraj, Mahaveera College, Moodbidri; Charanraj of Vivekananda Law College, Puttur; and Sudeep Vas, S.D.M. B.B.M. College, Mangalore (vice-presidents); Sanath, Canara College, Mangalore; Prashanth, St. Aloysius College, Mangalore; and Loknath, Besant Evening College, Mangalore (secretaries); Savitha, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore; and Ranjitha Rebello, St. Agnes College (joint secretaries).

Yashwanth of University College and Bharath Baikady of Canara College are conveners. Vinod K. of Karavali College is cultural secretary, Bharath of Narayanaguru College is sports secretary and Anand of Gokarnanateshwara College is organising secretary.
