VISAKHAPATNAM, SEPT. 9 . The Revenue Divisional Officer of Visakhapatnam, Markendeyulu, had been surrendered to the Government, and not been asked to go on leave, the Collector, Praveen Prakash, said on Thursday. The RDO was surrendered because he had given the dealership of a fair-price shop in Raavikamatam mandal to an ineligible person,Mr. Prakash told a press conference.On the revocation of the suspension of a Branch Manager of the District Cooperative Central Bank, the Collector, who is also acting as its Chairman, said the report of the DCCB General Manager, who had who suspended the Branch Manager of Anakapalle for not following rules in granting loans to self-help groups, could be made public if necessary.
