Aparna top seed

KOLKATA, SEPT. 10. Kaushik Pal of Bengal and Aparna Balan of Kerala were named top seeds in the boys' and girls' groups of the all-India junior ranking prize money badminton tournament being played at the SAI (Eastern Centre) here.

The seedings:

Junior boys singles: 1. Kaushik Pal, 2. Abhinav Kapoor (Mah). Doubles: 1. Dibyajyoti Borah/Suranjan Bhobra (Asm), 2. Piyush Agarwal/Ajay Abhiram Reddy (AP). Junior girls' singles: 1. Aparna Balan (Ker), 2. Varsha V. Belwadi (Kar). Doubles: 1. Abantika Deka/Rimi Hazarika (Asm), 2. Aparna Balan/Sainah Nehwal (Ker). Sub-junior boys' singles: 1. Suranjan Bhobra (Asm), 2. Ratikanta Saha (Ben). Doubles: Dibyajyoti Borah/Suranjan Bhobra (Asm), 2. Ratikanta Saha/Ashutosh Tiwari (Ben).
