KOCHI, SEPT. 10. Vishnu V. Gopal's fine performance (14 points) helped host Bhavan's Vidya Mandir `A' (Elamakkara) down IGM Public School (Ayyampilly) 50-22 and enter the quarterfinals of the 12th Bhavan's inter-school basketball tournament here on Friday.

Boys: Bhavan's Vidya Mandir `A', Elamakkara 50 (Vishnu V. Gopal 14) bt IGM PS, Ayyampilly 22; Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad 39 bt Delta Study, Fort Kochi 12; Greet's Academy, Kaloor 32 bt Nava Nirman, Vazhakala 18; Rajagiri, Kalamassery 30 bt BVM `B', Elamakkara 7.

Girls: St. Peter's, Kadayiruppu 21 bt Naval PS, Willingdon Island 8.
