Kafeel, Dinakar shine

MYSORE, SEPT. 11. A century by Kafeel Ahmed (100, 14x4s) and a six-wicket haul by medium-pacer K.R. Dinakar (six for 54), helped the Mysore Gymkhana to register a 145-run win over RBNCC `B' in the KSCA Mysore zone first division league encounter at the PET grounds, Mandya on Saturday.

The Scores: At Mandya: (First Division): The Mysore Gymkhana 297 for eight in 50 overs (Kafeel Ahmed 100, S.S. Yognath 60, Rohit 45, Venkat Nag four for 89) bt RBNCC `B' 152 in 42 overs (Bharadwaj 28, Prasanth 27 not out, K.R. Dinakar six for 54).

At Mysore: FUCC 287 for four decl. in 45 overs (P. Nagendra Kumar 109, Naveen 65, Ashwin 42, Umashankar four for 107) drew with Jaihind CC `B' 182 for seven in 38 overs ( J. Santosh 64, Umashankar 30, Nagendra 26, Radhakrishna three for 41).
