SRINAGAR, SEPT. 11. Militants of the Al-Mansurian outfit tonight stormed a hotel housing the 94 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force on the banks of the Dal Lake here, injuring an officer and two soldiers. Exploding grenades and opening indiscriminate fire, the militants stormed Hotel York at around 9.30 p.m. and engaged the troops in a fierce encounter which was still continuing, official sources said. Three CRPF personnel, including an officer, were injured in the encounter. An Al-Mansurian spokesman claimed that a three-member suicide squad of the outfit stormed the CRPF camp. This is the third suicide attack on the CRPF in less than two months.
Two armymen killed
In an incident in Badgam district last night, two armymen were killed and four others, including two civilians, injured when militants exchanged fire with the security forces. PTI
