TASHKENT, Sept. 11. Seventh-seeded Sania Mirza made it to the women's final of the $100,000 Asian tennis championship with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over the eighth-seeded Napaporn Tongsalee of Thailand here on Saturday.

Sania, the second Indian to reach the final in recent times after Rohan Bopanna, will take on second-seeded Na Li of China, who beat fourth-seeded Ryoko Fuda of Japan 6-7(2-7), 6-1, 6-3 in the other semifinal.

However, Sania will face a tough customer in 22-year-old Na Li, who has 19 ITF women's singles titles to her credit, including one $75,000 tournament, three $50,000 and seven $25,000 events.
