Dai-Chiao Lin goes past first qualifying hurdle

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 11. Dai-Chiao Lin of Chinese Taipei sweated it out for a 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4 win over Raju Anand Anumaganti in the first round of the qualifying event in the Indian Oil ITF Futures tennis tournament at the DLTA Complex here on Saturday.

Later, in a press conference it was announced that the wild cards had been given to Renouk Wijemane of Sri Lanka, Arindam Dutta, Vivek Shokeen and Sanam Singh.
