DAV (Shalimar Bagh) records win

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 11. DAV School (Shalimar Bagh) and Ganga International School posted victories in the Himalaya Chyavanprash Cup inter-school (under-15) cricket tournamenthere on Saturday.

The scores:

DAV 144 for nine in 35 overs (Sandeep Kaushik 53, Bhupender Yadav 34, Anurag three for 14, Manish Kumar three for 18) bt Bal Bharti (Noida) 116 in 33.2 overs (Jatin Kumar 50, Lakshay Kumar 35, Ankit Dabas three for 21, Prateek Kaushik three for 15, Avinash Kumar three for 17).

Ganga International School 170 for five in 35 overs (Varun Kumar 75 not out, Vishwas Sehrawat 33 not out, Rahul three for 20) bt Delhi Public School (Noida) 139 in 32.4 overs (Divesh Kumar 58, Daunder 49, Tarun Kumar four for 12, Varun Kumar three for 20).
