BANGALORE, SEPT. 11. The annual athletics meet of the middle and senior sections of Bishop Cotton Boys School was inaugurated here on Saturday. It was a time for celebrations as the school was commemorating 139 years of the introduction of sports there. In the morning, the athletes marched in unison with the school band, which played some popular tunes. Students from the five houses were led by the sports captain, Shobith Tandon. Various athletic events were organised and cultural programmes held. V.R. Sudarshan, acting Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, and D.V. Prasad, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, were present.
