DHARMAPURI, SEPT. 12. Elections to vacancies in 22 local bodies in the district will be held on September 27 for which filing of nominations had begun on September 9. The Collector, Ashish Vachhani, in a statement here today, said that the last date for filing of nominations was September 16. The nominations would be taken up for scrutiny on September 17. The last date for withdrawal of nominations was September 20. Polling would take place on September 27 between 7.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and the results would be announced on September 28. The local bodies, which go for the polls are as follows: Daasarahalli, Pelahalli, Akkumanahalli, Paiyarnayakanpatti, Thottampatti, K. Vedrampatti, Kokkarapatti, Kongavembu, Mampatti, Jittandahalli, Gurudarahalli, Kerakodahalli, Tokubodhanahalli, Laligam, Bagalahalli, Thoppur, Kummanur, Thammanapatti, Chelliampatti, B. Mallapuram, Pattukonampatti and Dharmapuri Municipality.
