By Our Staff Reporter

DINDIGUL, SEPT. 12. The Madurai City Police Commissioner, Vijay Kumar, today called for an effective coordination between the police and the people to reduce crimes.

He was addressing a meeting got up here to improve the relations between the police and the people.

Mr. Vijay Kumar congratulated the police on their efforts to detect crimes and eradicate illicit distillation in the district and said good police-public relations would send a signal to bad elements that both were vigilant.
