KOLLAM, SEPT. 13. The Group Director of BARC, G. Govindarajan, today said the growth of security technology has to remain on a par with the growth in information technology. He was delivering the keynote address at the valedictory function of the three-day National Workshop on Cryptology today. The workshop was organised by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV) at Amritapuri, near here. Dr. Govindarajan said in today's world, every field of technology has to implement its own security features. The next one or two decades will see an increasing use of cryptology in securing information. The AVV Vice-Chancellor, P. Venkar Rangan, presided over the function. The Principal of the Amrita Institute of Technology, K. Sankaran, welcomed the gathering. The convener of the workshop, M.R. Renu, proposed a vote of thanks.
