LUDHIANA, SEPT 12. Terming the power situation in the state as ``grim'', Punjab's Minister for Rural Development, Irrigation and Power Lal Singh has assured people that the government way trying to arrange power from alternate sources. Singh called upon the people of the state to bear with the government which way trying to arrange power from alternate sources following lowering of water level in Bhakra that today stood 95 feet below its last year's level. Due to scanty snowfall in the catchments area in winter and due to a shortage of rainfall this summer, the power situation was getting worse daily, he said, adding that the government way working hard to address the problem.
