Rasta roko over `free power'

TIRUPATI. Sept. 12. The Telugu Desam Party activists today held a demonstration at the busy Poornakumbham circle here, protesting against the State Government `backtracking' on its free power scheme.

Shouting slogans, they held placards and disrupted traffic for some time at the cross-roads. The irate protestors also burnt the effigy of Digvijay Singh, the AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh.
