Prakash triumphs

MYSORE, SEPT. 12. V. Prakash (JWGC, Mysore), returned with a card of eight-over 78 and clinched the coveted Stroke Play Gross title in the Shafi Darashah Memorial Open golf tournament conducted by JWGC at their course here on Sunday.

The results: Stroke Play Gross: 1. V. Prakash (78 gross); 2. M. V. Vindo Dev (80 gross); Stroke Play Net (0-18): 1. Dr. M.S. Ranganath (68 net); 2. Dr. N.M. Caverippa (71 net); Stable Ford Net (0-18): 1. V.C. Srikanth (37 pts.); 2. N.P. Raghuveer (35 pts.).
