NEW DELHI, SEPT. 12. Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) and Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) have been seeded No.1 in the men's and women's sections respectively in the Indian Oil Servo 34th all-India inter-Institutional table tennis championship to be played at the Sardar Patel Auditorium, Gopalpuri, Gandhi Dham, Kachchh, from September 19 to 23. In the singles event, that will carry a total prize money of Rs. 192,000, the top-seeding has been given to A. Sharat Kamal and Poulami Ghatak of PSPB in the men's and women's sections respectively. The draw was made at the office of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) here on Sunday.
Men: Group `A': Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, Defence Accounts Sports Control Board, Reserve Bank of India and Indian Air Force; Group `B': Railway Sports Promotion Board, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, State Bank of Indore, Oriental Insurance and Food Corporation of India; Group `C': Bank Sports Board, Central Revenues Sports Control Board, Postal, Coal India and Air India; Group `D': Life Insurance Corporation, Major Ports Sports Control Board, Indian Bank, All India Electricity Sports Control Board and Indian Airlines.
Women: Group `A': Railway Sports Promotion Board, Defence Accounts Sports Control Board, Life Insurance Corporation and Central Revenues Sports Control Board; Group `B': Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, Bank Sports Board, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Postal and Air India.
