Nutrine sub-junior fourth leg from today

KOLKATA, SEPT. 12. The fourth leg of the Nutrine Naturo sub-junior tennis championship will be held at the Bengal Tennis Association (BTA) courts here from Monday. The week-long meet will have competitions in two age groups: under-14 and 12.

The six-leg circuit will be followed by the Masters at Bangalore.

The boys' under-14 top seed Vinay Kamineni of Andhra Pradesh has dropped out on health grounds. Consequently the seedings were revised with second seed Yuki Bhambri and Rubal Shandilya, both from Delhi, now the first and second seeds. Lakshit Sood of UP and A.N. Mudappa of Karnataka are the third and fourth seeds respectively.

In the girls' under-14 category, Likitha Devraj of Karnataka is the top seed. She is followed by Nandita Krishnan of Tamil Nadu, Gopika Kapoor of Delhi and Aishwarya Y.P. of A.P.
