NIZAMABAD, SEPT. 12. A doctor, Akshay Reddy (28), based in Hyderabad, died in a road accident near Bhiknoor police station on the Nagpur-Bangalore National Highway, on Sunday morning. According to the Kamareddy DSP, K.V. Mohan Rao, the doctor had returned from the United States recently. He was killed on the spot when his Lancer car was involved an accident with a truck travelling in the same direction. His car was completely mangled. He is from Narayanguda in Hyderabad. His identity was established with the help of a mobile phone left behind in the car. It is learnt that Dr. Reddy had a transport business and had arrived here on Saturday evening to meet friends. His parents and sister too are doctors in the US. The Bhiknoor Sub-Inspector, Mallikarjun, is investigating the case.
