Report inaccurate, says India
NEW DELHI,
SEPT. 12.
India today termed as inaccurate a news report that it may skip the SAARC summit at Dhaka in January in view of some anti-India statements emanating from Bangladesh. ``The report is grossly inaccurate and speculative,'' an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said, when his attention was drawn to a newspaper report.
On Friday, India had lodged a strong protest with Bangladesh over certain remarks of its Foreign Minister. UNI
