Sir, — The debate on who should take credit for the implementation of the Sethusamudram project is interesting. The credit for first visualising the project should go to poet Subramania Bharathi who suggested in one of his patriotic poems that we should construct a bridge to the Sinhala island and raise the Sethu to lay a road.
