ALAPPUZHA, SEPT. 13 . Cine director Vinayan has said that he stands firm in his opinion that producers should have the last word with regard to various aspects of film production. He was participating in a meet-the-press programme organised by the Alappuzha Press Club today. Vinayan noted that while in all other industries those who invested money had the final say, in the film industry it was not so. Vinayan said personally he did not have any grudge against actor Mohanlal though they differed on certain issues. He said he was willing to direct a film casting Mohanlal if the latter agreed. He criticised the manner in which some televisions serials based on ghost stories were being portrayed, saying that it would affect the mental health of children. Vinayan said his next project was a film on dwarves. Around 300 dwarf people have been selected from various parts of the country to work in the project. As many as 160 of them were from Bihar. Sixty have been selected from Kerala to act in the film, he said.
