Seminar on insurance industry
HYDERABAD: The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) is organising a national seminar on `Outlook for insurance industry for next decade-issues and prospects", here on September 15. The seminar would be inaugurated by C. S. Rao, Chairman of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA). Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, K. Harishchandra Prasad, Chairman, and Sohanlal Kadel, Co-Chairman of Banking, Insurance & Finance Committee of FAPCCI, said the seminar would focus on issues such as detariffing in the insurance sector, disinvestment, development of rural markets, and medical insurance (role of insurance brokers). — Our Special Correspondent
