NAMAKKAL, SEPT. 13. Ranjit CC beat Power Star by 81 runs in the DCAN-Indian Bank `A' division league match here on Sunday.

The scores:

`A' division: Ranjit CC 222 in 40 overs (Perumal 68, Suresh 38, Pal Vannan 33, Satheesh four for 31) bt Power Star 141 in 30.3 overs (B. Kumar 52 not out, Satheesh 29, Manikandan three for 26, Raja three for 24).

`B' division: Nethaji Memorial 188 for nine in 40 overs (Bala Murugan 36, Kannaiyan 47, S. Velusamy 25, Karthi three for 25) lost to AMCC 189 for five in 37.1 overs (Musthafa 51 not out, Karthi 91 not out).
