GITAM Engg. enters league phase

VISAKHAPATNAM, SEPT. 13. GITAM College of Engineering qualified for the league phase of the Andhra University inter-college handball tournament for men at the AU Golden Jubilee grounds.

The results: Second round: GITAM Engg. bt MSN Degree College, Kakinada 14-9, Sir CRR bt GITAM Management 14-4, Ideal bt Dr. VS Krishna 17-5, Dr. LB bt VSM 17-7. First round: MSN Degree College bt Pydah 23-9, GITAM Engg. bt PR 12-6, Dr. VS Krishna bt Gayatri Vidya Parishad 18-4, VSM bt Govt. Degree College for Men, Srikakulam 23-12.
