New Health Secretary for Pondy

PONDICHERRY, SEPT. 13. A.K. Chaturvedi, an IAS officer of the 1990 batch and belonging to the AGMU cadre, has been appointed Secretary to Departments of Health and Civil Supplies and Consumer Welfare in Pondicherry Administration vice C.V.S. Rama Rao.

A release from the Under Secretary to the Government, H. Dasarathan, said today that Mr. Chaturvedi reported to the Pondicherry Administration on August 31 following the order of the Union Home Ministry and had since been assigned the above subjects as per the order of the Lieutenant Governor.
